As Governor, John Hickenlooper nominated judges to Colorado’s court system. And he made some, let’s say, interesting choices…
Here’s a sneak peek of the kind of people John Hickenlooper would support for a SCOTUS vacancy:
Ryan Kamada, a Hickenlooper-appointed judge, pleaded guilty to a federal felony charge for obstructing an investigation into a cocaine trafficking ring in northern Colorado and was forced to resign.
Both Melissa Hart and William Hood, two Hickenlooper judicial appointees, donated thousands to democratic causes. And Hart donated more than $1,200 to Hickenlooper’s political future between 2010 and 2014.
And if Hicklooper gets his way, he’s going to pack the courts with more judges like these.
Just look at what he said when the New York Times asked if he’d be open to packing the courts during his failed presidential campaign:
Bottom line: Hickenlooper’s record on judges is a disaster and, if he’s given an opportunity to pack the courts, it’s bound to cement his radical agenda for generations to come.
