Build what back?
“Build Back Better” is the DNC’s official campaign slogan. Sounds more like an advertisement for a new back rehab clinic franchise. I’d have thought the Dems would include the word America in the slogan. But if you think about it, not doing so was undoubtedly a smart decision as people would quickly refer to any hats handed out as BABB hats. and BABB, after all, is just two letters short of babble.
Noticeably, the Dems appear to enjoy leaving words out. Hardly a coincidence that so many of the DNC convention speakers reveled in omitting the words “under God” from the Pledge of Allegiance.
Build Back Better. Really, all those b’s! Reminds me of Goldie Hawn’s character in the hilarious scene from the movie “Overboard” — b-b-b-b-b-b-b. I’m curious though, how can you build something back better when you won’t name what you want to build?
Gardner has demonstrated leadership
For those who plan to vote this fall, we have a choice in a candidate who has proven himself as a leader, an honest and committed family man, a multi-generational Coloradan, a businessman, and someone who has worked across the aisle to benefit the people of Colorado.
Of course, I am talking about and support Cory Gardner to be elected to his second term in the U.S. Senate. He has demonstrated the ability to be a national leader on energy and natural resource policy and has been successful in getting more jobs in Colorado including relocating the Bureau of Land Management headquarters to Colorado. Please join me and my family in voting for Cory Gardner for U.S. Senate this fall.
