Denver, CO — Senator Cory Gardner today announced he has accepted an invitation to participate in a Rural Issues Debate hosted by Club 20, Action 22, and Pro 15. John Hickenlooper has not committed to attending.
“As the only statewide elected official living more than 30 miles outside of the front range, I understand the unique challenges our rural communities face and look forward to discussing these concerns at the Rural Issues Debate,” said Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO). “I call on Governor Hickenlooper to come out of hiding and speak to the issues facing families across Colorado’s rural communities — all four corners of our state deserve answers.”
Club 20, Action 22, and Pro 15 represent a combined 57 counties in Colorado spanning the Western Slope, Southern Colorado, and the Eastern Plains.
The Rural Issues Senatorial Debate is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 26th at Adams State University. Additional details to follow.
